The Top 5 Property Management Conferences You Should Be Attending in 2022

Property Management

It is 2022, and the world and the property markets are opening up further. Realtors, property, and property managers can finally bid farewell to the phrase “online conference” as conferences return in full post-COVID swing.

As a company that boasts excellent software for property management services, we are happy to share these five property management conferences. These property management conferences will be great opportunities to back into practice with networking and sharing information.

Here are the biggest upcoming property management conferences in the second half of 2022:

2022 NARPM Annual Convention and Trade Show

This year’s NARPM Annual Convention Trade Show will be its 34th year. The Annual Convention and Trade show is a four-day conference; this year, it will be held in Las Vegas, NV at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel from October 17 – 20.

The 2022 Annual Convention and Trade Show is open to all NARPM members. The convention will also feature some of the most recognizable faces in the real estate industry; some of the event’s keynote speakers include Marilyn Sherman and Melissa Majors.

Both speakers will deliver talks on leadership in the real estate industry, and other topics will include confidence and growth within real estate. Speaking on the topic of real estate investment is none other than Rob Van Winkle. You might know him better by his stage name — Vanilla Ice.

True to its mission, the NARPM Annual Convention and Trade Show promises to offer attendees timely content. The convention will be an excellent opportunity for you to network and engage with others in your field.

Registration is open, so don’t miss one of the most highly anticipated property management conventions of the year.

2022 IREM Global Summit

This year, the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) takes the IREM Global Summit to Dallas, TX. The IREM Global Summit will run from October 17 – 20, 2022. The Hilton Anatole will host this year’s IREM Global Summit. However, the Global Summit Premiere Party will be at the Backyard Dallas. The party kicks off on the second day (October 18, 2022) of the Global Summit at 6:30 PM.

The 2022 IREM Global Summit will feature some of the most experienced realtors as the event’s keynote speakers. Phil Gwoke, an internationally-recognized leadership speaker, will speak on leadership and talent management. On the final day of the summit, retired USAF colonel Nicole Malachowski will inspire attendees with a talk on being the best in trying times. The event also features many other educational resource speakers, all specializing in a different niche of real estate. You can look over the scheduled talks here.

The four-day conference ends with an evening of celebration at the Global Summit Gala. The gala is a black-tie event, hosted by the presidents of the IREM, Barry and Sherry Blanton. The gala will also celebrate a changing of the guard as it welcomes the new IREM president, Renee Savage.

Mark your calendars — the IREM Global Summit is a property management conference you do not want to miss.

2022 OPTECH Conference and Expo

From November 1 – 3, 2022, the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) will hold the OPTECH Conference and Expo in Las Vegas, NV. The event will be at the Wynn Resort and promises to be one of the most informative conferences for apartment property managers in 2022.

The 2022 OPTECH Conference and Expo promises to give attendees deeper insight into property management services and technology post-COVID. The talks delivered by the event’s experienced and well-recognized keynote speakers will discuss property technology, automation, talent management, customer journey optimizations, and more.

Delivering the talks are Omar Johnson and Mel Robbins. Omar Johnson is one of the most recognized branding and marketing specialists in real estate. Mel Robbins is famous for her entrepreneurial insight and, of course, her authorship of the international bestseller, The 5-Second Rule.

Registration is ongoing. If you’re an apartment property manager looking for actionable information on property trends and technology, this conference is worth a spot on your calendar.

2022 NAR NXT: The Realtor Experience

The National Association of Realtors (NAR) has long held its flagship conference, NXT. However, in 2022, the association has rebranded this property management conference to deliver attendees and members greater value and opportunities.

This year, the NAR will launch NXT: The Realtor Experience. The NAR-organized conference will take place from November 11 – 13, 2022 in Orlando, FL. Already, the conference has thousands of registered attendees, as well as more than a hundred speakers on schedule.

The 2022 NAR: NXT Conference is the event to go to for connection and engagement. With hundreds of exhibitors, you’ll have hundreds of opportunities to broaden your network and establish impactful connections.

The 2022 NAR: NXT conference’s exhibits will also allow you to take featured business tools for a spin so you can test out property tech that is making waves in the market before you invest in anything for your business.

The 2022 NAR: NXT may have reimaged itself, but the conference has retained the NAR: NXT’s backyard party tradition. The backyard party is the perfect time to let your hair down, indulge in a buffet, and enjoy drinks with colleagues and newly-formed connections.
